Rotary names MacDonald the ‘Citizen of the Year’

The Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club, whose motto is “Service over Self,” has chosen Larry MacDonald as “Citizen of the Year” in honor of his many contributions that have benefited many both locally and internationally.

The Rotary credits MacDonald with an extensive list of charitable efforts to support his being chosen.

A longtime resident of Medford Lakes, McDonald has lent his talents to the Medford Lakes Elementary School and the police department to help develop an effective school bicycle program. He has served as head marshal and safety marshal for the Colony Clubs Annual Canoe Carnival (which takes place every August).Read Story
