Paul VI High School invites all 7th and 8th grade students along with their families to their annual Open House on Nov. 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the school’s programs and courses of study. Nov. 20

The Rattler Baseball Association presents, the first annual “Beef & Beer & Comedy Night” from 7 p.m. to midnight on Nov. 20 at the Chews Landing Fire Hall, 221 Somerdale Road, Blackwood. Nov. 20 and 21

The Story of Ernestina Scrooge by Tom Fuller will be performed by Glassboro High School Thespian Society Troupe 1418 on Nov. 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school theatre, 550 J. Bowe Boulevard, Glassboro. Tickets are $5 for children and seniors and $7 for adults and can be reserved by calling (856) 881-8273 or purchased at the door the evenings of the performances. Nov. 26, 28 and 29

Worship singers Terry and Nancy Clark will appear at the Gloucester County Community Church in Sewell three times during the Thanksgiving holiday. South Jersey Paranormal Research (SJPR), a nonprofit organization devoted to the professional study of spirit phenomena, has announced its participation in a fundraiser at the Williamstown Grand Theater on Nov.28 at 7 p.m. SJPR will demonstrate audio, still photos, video clips, and other evidence that the group has gathered on investigations in private homes, businesses, cemeteries, and other locales to the public during this presentation. Attendees will also have the chance to purchase raffle tickets to win spots on an after-hours ghost hunt of the theater and two other historic locales in Williamstown. Tickets for entry to the fundraiser are $5.00. Eastern High School’s Project Graduation Annual Craft Show and Holiday House Tour is set for Dec. 5, 2009. Volunteers are needed now to ensure the success of both events. Parents and guardians of all grade levels at the high school are welcome to volunteer. John Paul II Regional School’s Parent Teacher Association is sponsoring a “Breakfast with Santa” on Dec. 5 at John Paul II Regional School, 55 Warwick Rd., Stratford from 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The all you can eat breakfast includes a visit with Santa, crafts, and a raffle to win themed gift baskets. Tickets are $5. Children two-years-old and younger are admitted for free. Tickets are available, at the door on the day of the event or available to students at the school. Dec. 5

A high school placement test for registered incoming freshmen for the 2010-2011 school year at Camden Catholic High School will be held on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The test takes place in the school cafeteria, located at 300 Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill.
