TABERNACLE >> Malin Jasinski ran for two scores and passed for another as Seneca (9-3) beat visiting Cherokee (6-6), 21-14, on Thanksgiving Day Nov. 28.

The win was the first for the Golden Eagles over the Chiefs since 2009.

While Seneca ends one of its best seasons in recent memory, Cherokee has one more game left on the schedule.

The Central Jersey champion Chiefs will face South Jersey champion Williamstown in the NJSIAA South/Central Group 5 Regional Bowl Game at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
