GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women’s soccer team won 3-0 over Marymount University on Wednesday night. The Profs have won four straight games.

The Profs’ first goal came at the 54 second mark. Forward Daria Jones (jr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) knocked in a cross from forward/midfielder Aidan Sheehan (so. Hamilton Square, NJ/Steinert). Sheehan made it 2-0 (47:42) when she went around a defender on the left side of the net and blasted a shot into the right corner. Jones produced her second marker 10 minutes later. She headed in a cross from forward Lauren Wood (so. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown).

The Profs (4-1) compiled 26 shots while the Saints (0-5) only had two. Goalie Shelby Money (sr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) had her second shutout on the season. Marymount goalie Sydney Sherman (sr. Sterling, VA/Potomac Falls) made 11 saves.

Rowan starts its conference schedule at William Paterson University on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m.
